Avid Design Group was hired by the St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches Visitor and Convention Bureau (VCB) to develop a website for the local event in St. Augustine to be held from May 3rd – May 6th at Flagler College and other surrounding venues.  The challenge was to develop an historically artistic site that visually presents the multiple lectures on separate dates to where the public will easily understand the schedule and locations of each lecture.

Avid Design Group was able to successfully meet the design, development and short development time frame needs of the VCB and launched the website last month with much fan fare and promotion.  The site can be viewed at www.culturallylaflorida.org.  We are proud to be part of this celebration of Florida event and appreciate our successful relationship with the St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches Visitor and Convention Bureau.

The website features in-depth information about the vacation rental units located on the 40 acre ocean front complex in St. Augustine Beach, FL.  It also features information on the local community and community attractions such as fishing, golf, boating, historic downtown St. Augustine and much more.  You can view detailed pictures and descriptions of available rooms and book your sunny vacation using the on-line reservation system.  Check out the site at www.theoceangallery.com.

New website for The Ocean Gallery in St. Augustine Beach, FL

” I’m at the conference for the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) this week. The opening session had a speaker who spoke on the generational differences and how we need to market our certification programs to each of those generations. He was using advertising clips and examples of websites to illustrate his points.

Imagine how thrilled I was to see the ABMSP home page go up on the screen as an example of how to best market to Gen Xers and Millenials. He said that our Get Certified, Get Prepared, Get Ready message was right on for how to hit the younger generation.

The website design and development project was developed through a collaborative effort between Avid Design Group, LLC of St. Augustine, FL, and the Executive staff of the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry (ABMSP).  David Stillman (Generation Xer) is co-founder with Lynne Lancaster of BridgeWorks, a company dedicated to speaking and consulting on generational issues for organizations ranging from AARP to the IRS to MTV. For over a decade he has been called on by business executives, politicians and the media to share his expertise on how to bridge generational gaps. His work has earned him gold medals at the NY Film Festival and he was recently named as one of “200 People to Watch.” Lynne and David’s new book, The M-Factor recently made the INC. Magazine best seller list.

Friends of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre (www.fosaa.org), launched September 2011.  The Friends of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, Inc. (FOSAA) is a non-profit organization committed to making the Amphitheatre more accessible to the community.  Having its primary mission to increase access to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre by schools and other non-profit community organizations, FOSAA assists the venue in promoting excellence in programming and in being a positive contributor to the quality of life for citizens and visitors to St. Johns County.

St. Johns County Education Foundation (www.sjcef.com), launched October 2011.  The St. Johns County Education Foundation is the direct support organization for the St. Johns County School District. This non-for-profit organization leads efforts to directly benefit the educators and students within the community through programs and events that strive to provide the tools and resources that are necessary to help each child in St. Johns County reach their full potential.
